Chuck Todd, MSNB’s Chief Science Correspondent, reported a massive fireball over southern Texas this morning after being tipped off by a Twitter user. “I immediately called the president about the emergency and was forwarded to Vice President Kamala Harris.”

Harris immediately called the president and was forwarded to Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Speaking at a retreat, Harris outlined that “…McCarthy and I will spearhead a scientific subcommittee to determine the cause of the fireball over southern Texas near Boca Chica with Pete Buttigieg incorporating the subcommittees work into his Project Distraction.”

In a two-page editorial in the Washington Post, Jeff Bezos confirmed:

“Yes, Pete called me, and I agreed to chair the Fireball over Texas Subcommittee (FTS). I’ve already discovered that we happened to have numerous US Navy ships in the area, including a T-38 and ER-2. We’ll be subpoenaing the bosses of those ships to testify in front of our subcommittee about what they witnessed this morning. Once the FBI and CIA have redacted our final report, we expect to release it in full in the Washington Post within the next ten years. After spending millions of dollars shooting down a toy balloon over Michigan, I can assure you that Harris and McCarthy are willing to spend billions to keep the people of southern Texas safe.”

Off the Record:  Wall Street vs. Harris and McCarthy

“Chuck, after viewing the season finale of Star Wars the Mandalorian, I have doubts about how profitable the next three Star Wars movies will be. We need Harris and McCarthy to make the case for a substantial increase in government spending to military equipment suppliers, to keep us safe and me floating in money.” Excerpts from an interview of David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs, by Chuck Todd from MSNBC were allegedly leaked to Twitter by an unnamed source who didn’t have permission to speak on the subject.
