“I was sick and tired of the controversy surrounding Gina Carano and I just wanted some peace and quiet on the set of The Mandalorian,” was the confession that several people allegedly overheard Bob Iger, Disney’s Executive Chairman, share with Star Wars director J. J. Abrams.

“Isn’t that why you promoted Bob Chapek, so you could kick the difficult decisions down the hall to him?!” retorted Abrams.
“Listen, J. J., McCarthy is American’s sweetheart…
“…isn’t that Sandra Bullock?”
“Whatever. McCarthy is wholesome and free from controversy. I feel relieved just talking about her playing the part of Cara Dune. Besides, no one cares about anyone in the show except Baby Yoda…”
“…you mean Grogu.”
“Stop interrupting me or I swear you’re not directing Star Wars 10, 11, and 12!”

During an interview about GameStop with MSNBC’s anchor Brian Williams, David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs, was allegedly overheard saying on a hot-mike “…the two Bobs know what they’re doing. We need them to get the next Baby Yoda show streaming ASAP so they can unload a ton of merch.”
“But didn’t you just say that you were short on Disney stock?” Williams responded.
“It’s complicated, Brian. I don’t expect you to understand my strategy.”
