During her interview with Michael O’Sullivan (Washington Post), Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins affirmed that Warner Brothers had greenlit the 3rd installment of the Wonder Woman saga.  “I agreed to do it under the condition that my film would only be released in movie theaters–not HBO Max.”

Pressed for script details, Jenkins said that the script had been written but demured on details sighting the non-disclosure-agreement she had signed with Warner.  “I really can’t say.”

Gal Gadot, a close friend of Jenkins, was waiting in the wings of the Post’s offices to take her out to dinner followed by an appearance at a Goldman Sach’s sponsored rave in a mansion in nearby Potomac, Maryland.  MSNBC’s Brian Williams was quietly talking with Gadot in hopes of hitching a ride to the rave when he was allegedly overheard asking her “…Jenkins really needs to come clean about the script before people conflate your role with that of Lynda Carter’s.”

Gadot’s response was startling to several people nearby who asked to not be identified fearing reprisals by their employer.  “She just blurted out that Carter was a shadow of herself and that they wouldn’t be appearing in any future movies together including the 3rd installment titled Wonder Woman Y2K.”

After more baiting by Williams, Gadot allegedly continued: “I stop the Y2K problem, the Millennium Bug.  It’s right there in the movie’s title, Brian!  And if you must know, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) is reincarnated by my brother Freddie Jr.”

“You have a brother in the movie?”  Williams allegedly asked.

“Yes!  He’s the evil overlord who grants people their wishes in return for eternal devotion.”

“But isn’t that just rehashing Wonder Woman 1984?”

“Listen, Brian, rehashing previous movies has become a time-honored tradition following the financial success of J. J. Abram’s Star Wars films.”

Off the Record:  Wonder Woman

After news of the alleged conversation was leaked during the rave by NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs was allegedly overheard saying “I support anything that AT&T can do to increase their profit, especially related to Warner and HBO.  I mean, can they get on with it and just throw Jenkins under the bus and bring in Abram’s to direct the 3rd film?  That would be a moneymaker.”
