“In Montgomery they lost the Luv Gov’nor, boo hoo hooo” sang the former cabinet of Robert Bentley as they serenaded the former Governor following his resignation speech.
Bentley leaves behind his wife, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, a good-paying job, his Sunday gig as a deacon at his church, and also Rebekah Mason.
During his resignation speech, former Governor Bentley stated:
“Now Watergate does not bother me, does your conscience bother you? I’m going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Mason.”
